Not to deviate from the topic but there is another free forum script called MyBB which is a clone of vBulletin. Infact couple of years back, Jelsoft, the makers of vBulletin, filed a complaint against MyBB for copying their ideas. Since then some changes have been made but the core remains the same. It has got some very nice themes and pretty large collection of plugins. It has all the necessary security features and the best of all page caching too. Just check it out.
Only issue is I am not sure if it is possible to migrate from phpBB to myBB. A converter is still in development. |
