Mohanlal came up with ‘Mahasamudhram’. There was absolutely no chemistry between the hero and the over-exuberant and out-of-place heroine, Laila. Critics say that the film just might survive at the box office solely due to Mohanlal’s performance. Nothing else in the film is worth mentioning, according to them.


Mammooty came up with ‘Bhargavacharitam Moonam Khandam’. The film was released a few days ago. It looks as if this too isn’t going to be that spectacular. The script was heavily inspired by the Hollywood hit ‘Analyze This’, but it failed to properly take care of the nativity element.


Already, Jayaram had released his ‘Aanachandam’. That film too has turned out to be very average grosser at the box office.


Now, there are three more films to hit the theaters this Onam- Suresh Gopi’s ‘Pathaaka’, Prithviraj’s ‘Classmates’ and Dileep’s ‘Don’. One of these is going to be the Onam hit this time.
