It is rumoured that Malayalam actor Kavya Madhavan hadattempted suicide on 14 June. It was the timely intervention of family members that saved her life, it is said.
She reportedly made the attempt, immediately after a gossip began to spread that video clips with her in the nude, performing a special pooja with a swami, was on the internet.
The story began when a fake swami was arrested by the police in Kerala. It was said that a number of leading actresses used to visit him. In the list, Kavya Madhavan's name was also reportedly found.
