A thrilled Kamal Haasan said to a news channel, 'it's a film for all. A new attempt which will take Tamil cinema to the next level. We tried many novel things in this movie with a strong belief and trust on the audience.' Asked to comment on Rajinikanth during the release of ‘Sivaji’, Kamal Haasan said Rajini was a King and Amitabh Bachchan was the Shahensha of Indian cinema. However, Kamal added, "I respect kings and emperors. But I believe in democracy". A highly intelligent remark indeed! 'I am happy that our hard work is reflected well on screen. ‘Dasavatharam’ is sure to bring repute to the Tamil film industry'.
